Connect Boston is an independent community initiative focused on strengthening and supporting the Brazilian Zouk and Lambada community in Boston. It creates a space for gatherings such as picnics, dinners, parks, meetups, and other social gatherings to connect as people, not just as dancers. This is not a school or an official organization it is simply a bridge created to support and connect the community. This space is designed to make it easy to find classes, events all in one place, while also providing opportunities for Zouk and Lambada dancers to get to know each other and strengthen our community. 🌱
COMMUNITY
The Boston zouk and lambada community is truly blessed with incredible teachers, dedicated dancers, welcoming spaces, and people from all over the world who bring their stories, cultures, and passions to the dance floor.Boston Conecta One builds on and celebrates that foundation of inclusion and diversity. Everyone belongs here — no matter where you come from, what role(s) you dance, what level you are, how long you’ve been dancing, whether you live in Boston or are just passing through, or any other aspect of your identity. If you love dance, value human connection, and treat others in our community with respect, you are welcome here. Come as you are.
And beyond the dance floor, we want to grow together as a community. This is just the beginning.

about
Hi everyone, my name is Samira. I am a Brazilian dancer based in Boston, and I have been part of the Brazilian Zouk and Lambada community for several years. I grew up within Brazilian culture, and it naturally shapes the way I dance, connect, and understand community.Living in Boston, I’ve noticed how vibrant and rich the local scene is full of talented dancers, teachers, and events. But with so much going on it can be tough to find out about all the different opportunities to learn and dance, and even harder to build relationships and feel like you are truly a part of the community. That is why I created Conecta Boston One.Whether you are new to zouk and lambada, new to Boston, or have been dancing zouk and lambada in Boston for years, if you want to join or help build a strong and welcoming community, you are in the right place. This is your community. And it’s waiting for you. 💛
